- Sugar
- Puff pastry dough
- 1 egg, for brushing
Directions

- In a bowl, mix approximately 3 tablespoons of potato starch with the cranberry jam. Place a spoonful of the jam mixture in the center of each star.
- Whisk the egg and brush over the pastry stars for a golden finish.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 225°C (435°F) for about 15 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine cranberry powder with sugar, then sprinkle over the freshly baked pastries for a touch of color and extra flavor.
Recipe Note
Tips:
Finding the right consistency with the jam and starch may take a few tries, as the jam tends to melt in the oven. For a simpler option, bake the pastry first and add the jam just before the end of baking. Feel free to experiment with different berry jams and powders, such as bilberry, sea buckthorn, blackcurrant or lingonberry, for a unique twist!
